Concert Making - Holiday Joy!

In 2017-18, Tandy Beal & Company will be producing holiday concerts at the Santa Cruz Civic Center and Hammer Theatre Center in San Jose with a combined potential audience of 7,000. School-time performances at the same venues will be held for an additional 2,000 children, teachers and parents at reduced cost.

Arts Education - ArtSmart School Residencies

TBC is conducting creative movement residencies for 3rd graders in 20 low-income elementary schools in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties. Culminating concerts featuring residency students and professional world dancers will be presented as an assembly for each school. Approximately 1,200 children will participate in these residencies and thousands will watch the performances.

Arts Education - ArtSmart School Concerts/Assemblies

Through grant and donor support, TBC produces concerts for low-income schools with at reduced cost with excellent Bay Area and local artists including: Linda Tillery, Keith Terry’s Crosspulse Percussion, Omar Ledezma’s KaHon, SoVoSo, Micha Scott Dances, Step Right UP, Magic Carpet-World Dance and more! We reach close to 6,000 students, teachers and parents annually through concerts at the Mello Center and individual school sites.

Concert Making - Family Concert Series

We are entering our fourth consecutive year of producing an annual Family Concert Series in downtown Santa Cruz! Family concerts feature award-winning Bay Area and local performing artists. Concerts are highly interactive, providing an excellent entry into the arts for our youth, and providing an engaging performance for adults.
