During Covid, the Company developed new programs to keep arts—and artists!—alive. A major project was KEEP ON TRUCKIN’ . Our flatbed truck arrived in various neighborhoods with world-famous artists in free family shows, outdoors and safe—bringing a burst of joy to your neighborhood!! Thanks to our friends, neighbors, supporters, and 60 astonishing artists, our Truckin’ shows were fun and uplifting — and just what we all needed during the pandemic!
We presented 133 ‘mini-shows’ for over 6,000 audience members, with musicians, singers, circus performers and a magician. Artists were from Santa Cruz and the Bay Area. We invited all kinds of audiences with the wide variety of genres of circus and music included Brazilian, Blue Grass, R & B, Latin, Soul, Gospel, World Music, Circle Songs, Balkan Music, Classical, Rock, Celtic, Traditional American, Body Music, Step Dancing, and Grateful Dead covers. We danced, we sang, we laughed, we were wowed.
This was the first live concert for many of the artists since before the shut down. Thanks to these performers for their gifts to our community!!

KEEP ON TRUCKIN’ 2021 - spring & fall shows
Thanks to our friends, neighbors, supporters, and 50 astonishing artists, our Truckin’ shows were fun and uplifting — and just what we all needed after a long and difficult year!
Last year, we presented 96 ‘mini-shows’ for over 3,800 audience members, with musicians, singers, circus performers and a magician. Artists were from Santa Cruz, as well as the Bay Area and as far away as New Orleans. A wide variety of styles and genres of music included Brazilian, Blue Grass, R & B, Latin, Soul, Gospel, World Music, Circle Songs, Classical, Rock, Celtic, Traditional American, Body Music, Step Dancing, and Grateful Dead covers—from a capella to guitar, bass, clarinet, lap steel guitar, keyboard, kahon, harp, dulcimer, conga, and banjo. Everyone danced and sang along — with old friends and new acquaintances!! Our circus performers and magician wowed us and made us laugh out loud.
This was the first live concert for many of the artists since before the shut down. Thanks to these performers for their gifts to our community:
